What os should i have with the following desktop pc? should i go for windows 7?will it be faster?

When looking at your PC config your PC will do great with WinXP Professional.

Win 7 Professional also would be good.

I would not recommend Win7 Home Basic .

If OS cost is a matter you can go for Win 7 Home Premium.

You can easily decide upon running Win 7 on your PC if you are able to be pretty ok with the performance of Win8 trial.



Just if you need for entertainment, use Win XP, all games and media softwares run pretty decently in XP and you can really do some high end 3d gaming on your PC.|||definitely...go with windows 7..it will work smoothly
