Should i get windows 7 32-bit or windows 7 64-bit?

I am about do build a computer for my first time with a friend that will help me and i am wondering whether i should get windows 7 32-bit or windows 7 64-bit...

i am going to have 4 gb of raam on my computer and wondering if that's when i have to get 64-bit, my friend said i don't need 64-bit but isn't it like windows vista if you have 4 gb of raam plus you have to get 64-bit.....he has never installed windows 7 so i am not sure if he's right or not, i definitely don't want to be building the computer finally finish and then find out the Operating System doesn't work..

currently i am getting windows 7 32-bit because it is cheaper, and i think my computer can't support windows 7 64 bit either...here is my specs of my computer from newegg.ca

is all that supposed to run on windows 7 32-bit or windows 64-bit and why?|||32 BIt WIndows 7 uses upto 4gb of memory. I wouldn't go to 64bit unless 1) You have to use more than 4GB, 2) You have a necessity to run 64bit apps.

32bit apps generally run slower under a 64bit OS due to the amount of extra addressing they have to do.
