Dual Monitor Display - Windows 7 ?

I just bought two 23 inch widescreen monitors and a extra video graphics card so i can hook up dual monitors. I installed the software so i can use the two monitors , Everything works fine for the dragging back and fourth. But the problem is on my main screen (primary) the resolution is 1920 X 1080 and the 2nd monitor is at a different resolution, I have read how to change them but HERE IS THE PROBLEM, When i right click to "adjust screen resolution" i do not see multiple display or the " extend Display" option all there is is 1.) Display 2.) resolution 3.) orientation, how come when i look at "how to set up dual monitors for windows 7" there is always an extra option but i dont have it!

I want to make both monitors the same resolution. I have tried the " windows + p " and i click on extend and still nothing happens... Please some one help|||are you doing this ?

right click desk top and select screen resolution

4 th down Multiple displays ,,,options are

duplicate

extend these displays

show desktop on 1

show desktop on 2,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,this is the 1 you need

you should then be able to to click on monitor 2 and change the res independently
