How do I get this new motherboard to work with my Windows 7 desktop?

I recently bought a new Intel motherboard for my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 desktop. I installed it (same processor/video card as before) and it restarts after the "Starting Windows" screen. I got to the advanced options screen and disabled restarting after a crash, and got a blue screen when it restarted before. How do I get it to work? Thanks :)|||Run sfc /scanNow in safe mode and repair corrupted/missing registry entries using some good cleanup tool such as reginout cleaner. thanks
