Video Card Assement in Windows 7.?

I have a BFG 8800 GTX 768MB OC2 and I am on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, My score is only a 6.4 this seems horrible to me. My processor and Ram / Memory score a 7.3 np and I am ok with that they are in the 7 range. My question is what is the best / single highest scoring video card in Windows 7? I was looking at buying a Nvidia 295 but I think I want to wait for there GT300 coming out sometime in this lifetime from what I read online :( I don't care if the card takes up two slot spaces but it can only take up one PCIE slot I do not want to SLI no questions asked.|||The 295 is fine...you should probably wait some more so you get a card with DirectX -11 support if your only incentive to getting a new card is the Windows Rating. Though there are DX-11 cards on the market already but they don't come that cheap.
