i recently installed windows 7 32bit on my pc (hpcompaq d530 ultra slim desktop, 2.6GhZ processor, 1GB RAM, 96MB onboardVIDEO card).
After updating the sound driver (Soundmax integrated digital audio driver, the screen display goes off when playing videos or music.
No troble with system sounds however!.
When i uninstalled the sound driver (that is, disabled sounds) i could play vidoes for a long time withouttrouble). The moment i install the sound driver again then the display goes off again.
One thing i dont get is the system unit is on but no display.
Pls help me find a solution.
I have tried with windows xp and vista, but problem still exists. Thanks.|||It is not at all a problem concerned with ur audio device
