A good video editing option on windows 7 64bit?

I recently installed Windows 7 (new system).. has 12 gig of RAM, HD video card, fireware etc. Now i'm looking for a video editing suite to go on there.. i've tried adobe prem. 7 elements and it crashes.. either something to do with 64 bit. I'm looking for a video editing app thats as feature rich as Adobe prem. 7 elements but is stable for windows 7 64 bit.. the video i'm editing can go all the way up to 1080i|||Adobe Premiere is an excellent choice - however the final version of Windows 7 hasn't been released quite yet. I would wait until you get the final version of Windows 7 before deciding on another video editing application. Another excellent one besides Adobe Premiere is Sony Vegas. You can download a free trial to test out.
