Does Windows 7 require higher PC specifications for games, just like vista?

for example:

the system requirements of a game for windows XP is;

processor: intel pentium 4

memory: 512mb

video card: 256mb

and the system requirements of a game for vista is;

processor: intel dual core

memory: 1gb

video card: 512mb

is the system requirements in windows seven the same as vista or xp? or is it even higher than vista?|||yup

win 7 is also using same plate form with less process running but memory management and cpu utilization is much better than vista but don't think it can run any game on same system requirement as xp does.

:)|||As long as the computer you are running supports Windows Seven, your games will all work if they work on Vista.

This was one of Microsoft's prime objectives in Seven- to preserve compatibility.

In fact, it may even work faster in some cases, depending on the game's build. Check the game's website for updated info.

Hope this helps!|||The requirements would generally be the same as Vista, but you should find Windows 7 actually runs things better on those requirements than Vista does.|||FOR GOOD GAMING EXPERIENCE ITS RECOMMENDED TO BE ON SAFER SIDE...

WITH 1 GB RAM THE GAME WILL LAG FOR SURE ... WITH POOR GAME EXPERIENCE ,,

YOU SHOULD INCREASE UR RAM TO GET PROPER GAMING EXPERIENCE !!
