What Graphics/Video card is best for me?

This is my Setup:

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.80GHz,

a PT800-8237 motherboard

Graphics Interface: AGP Version 3.0 w/ maxtransferrate=8x and enabled sideband.

1GB DDR ram. ( two 256MB and one 512MB )

and a 128MB ATI Radeon 9250.

I would like a Graphics card that can run the Aero feature of Windows 7 smoothly and run some games like Spore. Dad can't afford a new PC now but he can shell out for a video card upgrade.

Thanks! -Mike|||AGP graphics cards are more expensive than pci-express. the best bet for your computer is the ATI HD 4650 AGP with 1GB dedicated video ram. i think it will run with your existing power supply that should be at least a 250W (forget that garbage of 400W noted on the newegg site).

another weak point within your PC is the odd memory. to get a faster memory access it would be better to have 2 equal pairs 2x256MB + 2x512MB, so an upgrade of 512MB to 1.5GB would help too.
