CPU:AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor 2.90 GHz
System RAM:4.0 GB
Video Card: ATI RADEON HD 5570
Operating System:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Power supply: 250w
Those are my computer specs. what video card should i replace to play bf3 a high settings and do i need to replace my cpu?|||You cannot go much beyond that 5570, your power supply is not large enough for any higher end video cards. In fact, you are pushing your limits with the 5570 already....|||The min, specs to be even to play are...
GRAPHICS CARD (AMD): DIRECTX 10.1 COMPATIBLE WITH 512 MB RAM (ATI RADEON 3000, 4000, 5000 OR 6000 SERIES, WITH ATI RADEON 3870 OR HIGHER PERFORMANCE)
GRAPHICS CARD (NVIDIA): DIRECTX 10.0 COMPATIBLE WITH 512 MB RAM (NVIDIA GEFORCE 8, 9, 200, 300, 400 OR 500 SERIES WITH NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GT OR HIGHER PERFORMANCE.
PROCESSOR: QUAD-CORE CPU
MEMORY: 4 GB
And of course you meet these, but to jump to a different card you are going to have to go with a new power supply as well. I am surprised your machine even turn on with just a 250 in there?
As far as playing everything on max you are going to have problems period. That game has heavy graphic and system requirements. Are you willing to pay 600-700 in upgrades just to play a game?|||well u need a better power supply also. id go w the amd 6950 2gb gpu and a 550w power supply. (might can get away w a 500w) processor might be ok but personally for gaming theres none better than the i5 2500k or the i7 2600k, but if you went to either of those ud need a new motherboard w a socket to match the i5 or i7|||I hope this is a joke.
Because you can't get anywhere with 250 Watts man.
I've seen people manage on 450-500 watts, but you need to step it up in the power department.
I can give you a link to a cheap power supply, 750 watts.
