Need help on who ever know a lot on Video Cards?
When I plug in the monitor to the video card, what really happens? will all my saved data from the real computer not be on the video card. Pretty much, if i plug in the video card, is it going to be like if there was a whole new computer? For example, i think that it will not have my saved data, i think that instead of my windows 7 that i have right now, it will have windows vista. what happens?|||Graphics card deals with video processing. Hard disks deal with data storage. Plugging in a different graphics card in your desktop will do nothing else than give you better / worse performance in 3d applications. Your windows 7 will be just as it was before. Note though, it is often better to uninstall the current graphics card drivers before removing the card.
