My OS is Windows 7 64 bit and it has direct x 11?

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit and it has direct x 11 and my GPU is GTS 250, but GTS 250 currently supports direct x 11.

Now, My problem is that can my video card support direct x 11 bec, my OS has direct x 11? Or it won't? If it is then , I can't play direct x 11 based games?

Btw I have intel core i5 2400 quad core @ 3.0 GHz , 1 TB HDD SATA , GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 , GTS 250 1GB 256 bit DDR3 . x2 4 GB Kingston RAM PC1333 DDR3 . and 500 watts PSU, My cooling system is my aircon lol my Monitor is S27A950D <3

Should I buy ATI video cards? Like 6870 or 6850? or other good video cards of them that supports direct x 11? o should I wait for the price decrease in GTX 590? I can spend up to 1000$ more for the satisfaction of my gaming life style,|||No|||update your video card to get directx 11 capability|||buy one gtx 580 with a good 700w PSU and dominate your games at ultra settings !!
