How effectively will this computer run windows 7?

I will use it for Photoshop CS2, Firefox, Microsoft Office, and a few older games like Unreal Tournament 2004.



Windows 7 64 Bit

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Memory: 4GB DDR3 1333

Video Card: Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT



Is it going to use 50% or more of it's memory, or will it run at 30% or lower? Will the video card be good enough for all my programs and windows 7?|||as i got two discs when i purchased window 7

the processes used were 66 for the x86

i installed the x64 and there are 66 processes

having the 4gb of ram it runs more efficient than the x 86 which only recognises 3 gb

so the only problem you will have is the older games may not work with windows 7

which ever version you choose

but like the gentleman above has said download and use the adviser from microsoft|||Check the Microsoft website for a "Is my computer ready for Windows 7?" scan.

Your choice of 64-bit for 4GB RAM is correct but I have no personal experience of 64-bit|||atleast 50% or more. but since its 64bit, that'll let up on it a bit. 7 may not be the best choice for such old games\gfx cards though. probably incompatable
