Which Windows is best for gaming?

My PC's specifications are as follows:

Processor: Intel Pentium 'D' CPU 2.80ghz OC @ 3.02ghz

RAM: 2 GB RAM

HDD: 360GB

Video Card: nVidia Geforce 210, 1gb (HD).

Sound: nVidia (HD)



I've a game: NFS Hot pursuit (2010) as u all know. it's lagging a lot on windows 7 ultimate (32-bit). i m having two windows installed currently. windows xp sp2 and windows 7 ultimate (32-bit). i m playing the game on win7. its lagging to doom (i have a question posted on yahoo! answers like this). so i wanted to know which version of windows is best and best for gaming. plz help me out.|||change cpu instead of operating system. pentium d is not nice. try having at least duel core or core 2 duo.|||mostly windows xp is the best cause it doesnt take much graphics and ram...:D|||Get 64-bit OS if u have 64-bit CPU. Is pentium D 64? I dunno. If it is not, stick with XP. Ur mouse will not seem the same without 7 but you can adjust control panel awhile to fix that.
